Hey I'm DJ Jordy and this is my guest mix on Cloob.fm. I live in San Francisco and JAMbertO has been my DJ mentor since way back in the day when I was first learning my way around the turntable, so I'm truly honored to be sharing this mix on Cloob. You're gonna hear tracks from some of my all time favorite producers. Jamie Lewis, Hardsoul, Grant Nelson, and Joey Negro to name a few. I've always loved deep, funky, soulful house and there's plenty of that on today's mix. When I recorded this mix just over a year ago, I was coming out of some tough times. Several months of being overworked, uninspired, and generally feeling like crap. Finally I hit rock bottom and decided it was time to live again. When I made this mix, I was just starting to see the light of day, and rediscovering my love for house music was a big part of that. So this mix is about rebirth. It's about reconnecting the music with what really matters to you, and ultimately it's about falling in love with life all over again. - DJ Jordy
